The Sea of Star is the most famous scene in Beigan island. It's also can be seen in Tangchi. The beautiful scene is caused by dinoflagellates, a large group of flagellate protists that constitute the phylum Dinoflagellata. They gather in the Beigan island coast in Apr.-Mar. When the night comes, they sparkle in the coast with breath-takingly beautiful blue.
